Cherry Berry This 12" x 28" hosta is a hybrid of "Lachman Seedling L81-1" (unnamed seedling x H. 'Flamboyant') x "Lachman Seedling L81-9-2" (H.'Beatrice' seedling x H. 'Frances Williams'). Dark green leaves have a yellow center that turns white as season progresses. Elliptic leaves are smooth and shiny on top. Pale purple flowers bloom from mid-July into August. View Image

Chilly Mouse This is a sport of Cool Mouse. I am monitoring the sport in my garden and documenting it's growth with plans to register the plant in the next year or two. To date the plants has small solid green very thick rounded leaves that are much smaller than the parent. View Image

Con Te Partiro This cultivar is a hybrid seedling of Little Wonder x Blue Moon. It's 8" x24" with medium blue-green leaves that have creamy white margins that are moderately wavy, ovate and glaucous on top. Lavender flowers bloom from July into August. View Image

Cracker Crumbs A sport of Shiny Penny. Mature size of 5" x 19" with twisted slightly rippled, wavy shiny leaves. Leaves are golden yellow with narrow light green margins. Pale purple flowers bloom in July. View Image
Crepe Suzette This is an open pollinated seedling of Flamboyant growing to 6" x 15". Leaves are green with white variegate margins. It bears pale lavender flowers in summer. View Image

Curly Fries This is a seedling of Pineapple Upsidedown Cake. It grows to about 11" x 20" with medium to bright gold narrow elliptic and heavily rippled leaves. Lavender flowers bloom in August. (Pineapple Upside Down Cake, a medium hosta, is gorgeous and I'm fortunate to have one in my collection.) View Image

Desert Mouse A non-registered cultivar that is a sport of One Iota Supreme, very similar to Pure Heart. It's only 3½" x 5". It has slightly blue-green leaves with a white center. Leaves are broadly ovate, flat and dull and as they age the round creamy whites turn more white surroundedby rich blue-green margins. Striped lavender flowers bloom in July. View Image
Diamond Tiara A tissue culture sport of Golden Tiara grows to 14" x 25". Leaves are slightly wavy and pale lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August. View Image
Diamonds Are Forever This 10" x 16" sport is a tissue culture of Diamond Tiara. It's medium green, broadly ovate, moderately flat leaves have pure white margins. Deep purple flowers bloom in July. View Image
Dinner Mint A tissue culture sport of Lemontini growing to 7" x 15". It has bright yellow slightly rippled ovate and moderately wavy leaves with dark green variegated margins. It bears purple flowers in August. View Image

Dragon Tails This registered cultivar forms a 8" x 21" mound at maturity. It's leaves are heavily rippled, narrowly elliptic and thin. Medium purple flowers bloom in late July. View Image
Electrocution This is a hybrid of an unnamed seedling of( Swoosh x Longissima) x Red Neck Heaven) x Elivs Lives. It stands about 12" x 18" with twisted, rippled leaves and bears lavender flowers in July. View Image
Emperor's New Clothes This registered cultivar is a sport of Empress Wu and grows to 21" x 41" with dark green leaves that have greenish white streaks. The leaves are ovate, flat and slightly wavy. It blooms white tublar flowers with strips from June into July. A stunning plant at maturity. View Image
Fairy Dust A registered cultivar is an F2 hybrid of Corkscrew x Green Eyes and stands about 5" x 8". Yellow lanceloate leaves are very shiny and slightly twisted and is moderately wavy overall. Lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August. View Image
Faithful Heart A registered sport of Cheatin Heart that grows 10" x 20". It has slightly wavy leave and pale purple flowers in mid-July. View Image

Feather Boa A seedling of sieboldii Subcrocea is bright yellow in spring and then turns to light green as season progresses. It stands at 11" x 20" and purple flowers bloom in July. View Image
Fingernails A non-registered cultivar the result of many crosses in a breeding program. Background includes Hush Puppie, Silver Bay, Blue Mouse Ears and Cracker Crumbs. It's a tiny hosta of only 1" x 8" at maturity. Leaves are narrowly ovate and dark green. View Image

Foxfire Devine Winds This cultivar is a sport of Fortunei Albopicta and grows to 20" x 48" although my 3 year old plant has remained small at under 12" high. Green foliage has yellowish white center. Hyuga Urajiro This plant originates from Japan and is a sport of Kikutii Hyuga Urajiro. It has very long narrow pointed leaves with beautiful and unusual constrasting lime-green and blue-green stripes and a distnctive white underside. It grows to about 6" x 22" forming a compact clump. It produces lavender flowers in the summer. View Image

Mighty Moe A sport of Blue Mouse Ears Supreme grows to 6" x 15". Leaves are slightly cupped and it bears violet striped flowers June into mid-July. View Image
Mighty Mouse A Blue Mouse Ears sport that is 7" x 12" and has round blue-green leaves with a wide yellow border that turns to creamy white as it ages. Similar to Mighty Mouse but edge is a little more white. Bears lavender flowers. View Image

Minor This hosta is native to Korea and grows to about 6" x 12" with lavender flowers early to mid-July. It has ovate-shaped medium green smooth leaves. It's true form ishard to find in nurseries and is often mislabelled. I am fortunate to have been gifted this plant from a private collector who obtained his specimen over 20 years ago. View Image
